Port, Mendez-Shannon named to new diversity and inclusion posts
Vice president for diversity and inclusion Reginald Stewart has filled two new posts in his office, adding a project director in LGBTQA+ affairs and a project director in Hispanic/Latino affairs.

Searches are underway for student affairs posts
Committees are at work and positions are posted for two associate vice president positions in the student affairs division.

University awards ceremony is Monday afternoon
The 2016 recipients of university-wide awards will be honored by the Iowa State community on Monday, Sept. 26 (3:30 p.m., MU Great Hall). You're invited.

Cyclone volleyball opens home conference schedule this weekend
The Cyclone volleyball squad hosts Big 12 Conference opponent TCU Sunday, Sept. 25 (4 p.m., Hilton). Tickets are $5.

Marston Hall rededication is Sept. 29
Following a two-year renovation, College of Engineering administrative units returned to Marston Hall in July. The university community is invited to a building rededication ceremony on Thursday, Sept. 29 (4 p.m., outside the east entrance). After a program, the building will be open for self-guided tours.
