P&S employees: Summarize your jobs
In June, Professional and Scientific employees will be asked to summarize their jobs and job duties, one of the early pieces of a review of the P&S classification and compensation structure. An email from university human resources will provide instructions.

Butterflies? There's an app for that Students in an electrical and computer engineering senior design course helped create a mobile app and database commissioned by Reiman Gardens entomologist Nathan Brockman. The technology, originally designed as a tool for butterfly population surveys, can be customized for different studies.
Implementation planning begins for CyRide route changes CyRide's board has approved a 13-route structure; a phased implementation of changes is likely to begin next May.

DOE on the Iowa State campus: 70 years and counting
Scientists with a foot on university and Ames Lab turf easily count up the benefits of being affiliated with each. Iowa State's close ties with the U.S. Department of Energy facility hit a 70-year milestone this week.
