Survey results provide map for campus climate improvements
Results from a fall 2017 campus climate survey were presented Wednesday at a pair of open forums. Four implementation teams led by top administrators will develop and prioritize action items, beginning this summer.

Wintersteen to council: Salary hike still is top budget goal

Class project builds children's garden at women's prison
Assistant professor of landscape architecture Julie Stevens has been working with her students for seven years on projects at the Iowa Correctional Institution for Women in Mitchellville. Since the beginning, she's wanted to build a children's garden to give mothers a place to bond with their kids. It's finally coming to life.

Lots, streets to close for Olympic guests
Thousands of visitors will be on campus May 17-19 for the annual Special Olympics Iowa summer games, closing some streets and parking lots.

Arts and events
Get a little help with your garden this weekend
Proceeds from the Plant Sale Extravaganza May 12-13 in the Reiman Gardens parking lot will directly support the ecology, evolution, and organismal biology graduate student organization, Graduate Student Horticulture Society, Horticulture Club, Reiman Gardens and the Story County Master Gardeners.  Hours are 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday.
