Service delivery teams announced
Carter is retiring as research park president Steve Carter will retire Dec. 31 after engineering 18 years of growth at the park. Former senior vice president Warren Madden will step in until a national search is completed.

Show goes on the road
ISU Theatre's production of "Iphigenia" will perform at the Region 5 Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, in January. This is the lone production from Iowa invited.
Biosciences art install The artist team commissioned to create two sculptures for new bioscience spaces on campus returned to campus earlier this month to install the second.
More potent pot may pose greater risk A study co-authored by Brooke Arterberry, assistant professor of psychology, suggests states where marijuana is legal should consider regulating potency. More potent cannabis at first use increases the risk for the first symptom of cannabis use disorder within a year, according to researchers.
Criminal history increases likelihood of future crime Convictions for violent crimes and other serious felonies are a strong indicator that offenders will commit the same crime again, according to a study co-authored by Matt DeLisi, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Dean's Professor in the sociology department.
