Employees can learn more about finance and human resources specialist positions Tuesday, Jan. 8, at a job showcase event.

Interest survey for specialist positions opens Jan. 9
Employees who wish to be considered for specialist positions on finance and human resources service delivery teams must complete the online survey by 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18.

Job descriptions released for new HR, finance specialists
Position descriptions released Dec. 21 for the finance and human resources specialist jobs in the improved service delivery initiative assign existing job titles and classifications to the roles, along with a refined list of responsibilities.

Finance and HR hire service delivery leaders
New associate vice presidents in finance and human resources will help implement improved service delivery structures and oversee specialist teams in their areas.

Arts and events
Big 12 showdown is a tough ticket
Single-game tickets are not available on the Cyclone ticket website for Saturday's Iowa State and Kansas men's basketball game at Hilton Coliseum. There are tickets -- mostly upper level -- for sale through Iowa State's ticket exchange. There also are tickets available on resale sites like StubHub. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m. and the game will be televised on ESPN2.
