All openings -- faculty, professional and scientific, merit -- that are posted externally via Workday and appear on the ISU Jobs site will be shared automatically to LinkedIn and an audience of millions.

Some of the descriptive language we choose for our links actually isn't. Inside worked with the communications and digital accessibility teams in IT Services to identify a few best practices for creating helpful and accessible links in digital content.

It takes about an hour to deep clean a residence hall room. With nearly 5,000 rooms and apartments on campus, it's no small task every summer for the residence department's custodian team.

The state Board of Regents will meet June 11-13 in Iowa City.

Making adjustments as they competed, the Cardinal Space Mining Club climbed from seventh in the qualifying round to share the grand prize in NASA's 2024 Lunabotics Challenge -- and defend its 2023 title.

Iowa State researchers identified a corn gene with a significant role in plant size and root and stalk growth. The discovery offers breeders a tool to develop desirable dwarf varieties that could enhance corn's resilience and profitability.

Researchers at the Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory have developed a diagnostic test for swine to detect Japanese encephalitis virus, a mosquito-borne disease common in southeast Asia. While the disease hasn't been detected yet in the U.S., it spread to Australia two years ago.

The Iowa duo, Weary Ramblers, featuring singer/songwriter Chad Elliott and fiddler Kathryn Fox, will perform Tuesday, June 18 (7 p.m., Stephens Auditorium). General admission tickets are $20; the concert is a fundraiser for Ames-based KHOI community radio.
