First presidential finalist visits campus on Wednesday
Benjamin Houlton, dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, is the first of two finalists for the Iowa State presidency. He will visit campus Wednesday, Nov 5. In addition to meetings with faculty, staff, students, administrators and other stakeholders, Houlton will hold an open forum (4-5 p.m., Memorial Union Great Hall).
Live video streaming of the public forum will be available on the Iowa Board of Regents website. Houlton's curriculum vitae and interview schedule are available on the presidential search website, as is a feedback form.
Interview with the regents on Nov. 11
The regents will meet Tuesday, Nov. 11, in a closed session to hear from the search committee co-chairs, interview the finalists and select Iowa State's next president. The public introduction of the new president would occur later that day in the Memorial Union.
